Questions about use of Mermaid for degree evaluation. It's not a supported system and not synced with Banner, We may need to recommend that the university invest in the additional pieces that support this
Take out Mermaid, put in appropriate tools
Career Exploration, "MyPlan" is a product we already license,but license is going away. REplace this with appropriate tool, new software is better.
Alan will talk with Katie about details that are specific to MyPlan and make these generic,
Attendance -- university says attendance cannot be used toward grade
Attendance as part of assessment is something the small group working on this area should look at. It's a weak measure of engagement, lack of attendance is an indication of non-engagement
Maybe ask FSEM instructors to submit mid term grades, this avoids the problem of infringing on academic freedom,
Report for all first-year students -- how do we make this work Maybe ask faculty to put in S or U, broader issue that QEP, how do we work through to this, Fred will work on it, Supported by this group as best practice that supports retention and graduation
